Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in relation to a number of burglary incidents that occurred in the Ballyfermot area on 21/04/2020.
Following an investigation into 7 burglaries that occurred in the area, Gardaí arrested a man aged in his late 30s. He was detained at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
The man has since been charged in relation to this investigation and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court 2, today, 23/04/2020, at approximately 10:30am.
While being arrested the man coughed at Gardaí while claiming to be Covid-19 positive. The man has also been charged with an offence in relation to this matter.
