The 32 year old male arrested on Thursday 12th September 2019 has been released without charge today Saturday 14th September 2019. A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. The 26 year old male arrested on Thursday 12th September 2019 is still in Garda custody at Mountjoy Garda Station.

As a result of an intelligence led operation by Gardaí attached to Mountjoy Garda station a search took place this evening, Thursday 12th September, 2019 at approximately 5p.m. at a premises at Palmerston Hall, Dominick Street, Dublin 7.
During the course of the search two firearms were seized along with drugs (heroin and cannabis plants) with an estimated street value of €22,000 (subject to analysis). Also seized was a designer watch and clothing with an estimated value of €30,000 and a small sum of cash.
Two men (26 years and 32 years) were arrested at the scene and both are currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
