Gardaí remain at the scene of this morning's fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 12.30am at Quinspool, Parteen, Co Clare where a single vehicle hit a wall and was engulfed and destroyed by fire.
The 2 deceased persons remain at the scene. It's expected they will be removed to University Hospital Limerick later this afternoon where post mortems will take place.
An Garda Síochána are not in a position to identify the deceased individuals at this time.
The two males in their early 20s taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries remain in hospital.
Gardaí are still appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward, particularly any motorists who were travelling in the area between 12am and 1am who may have Dashcam footage.

Gardaí are currently at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 12am today Thursday 26th September 2019 in Quinspool, Parteen, Co Clare. It's understood at this time one vehicle was involved.
Two persons were pronounced dead and remain at the scene.
Two males in their early 20s were taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries. Forensic Collision Investigators are expected at the scene this morning. The road remains closed. Local diversions are in place.
