A 26-year-old man arrested as part of this investigation is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court (C.C.J. No.1) on Monday 16/9/2019 charged in connection with the case.

As a result of an intelligence led operation by Gardaí attached to Mountjoy Garda station a search took place this evening, Thursday 12th September, 2019 at approximately 5p.m. at a premises at Palmerston Hall, Dominick Street, Dublin 7.
During the course of the search two firearms were seized along with drugs (heroin and cannabis plants) with an estimated street value of €22,000 (subject to analysis). Also seized was a designer watch and clothing with an estimated value of €30,000 and a small sum of cash.
Two men (26 years and 32 years) were arrested at the scene and both are currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
