A 23 year old man was arrested this morning, Saturday 28th September 2019 in relation to the murder of John Gibson on the 18th September 2017 at City West Shopping Centre, Fortunestown Lane, Dublin 24.
He is expected to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 later this morning, Saturday 28th September 2019.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at Fortunestown Lane, Tallaght, Dublin 24 at approximately 9.20pm on Monday September 18th 2017. One man aged in his late 20’s, suffered gunshot wounds.
The injured man received medical assistance at the scene but was pronounced dead a short time later. A post mortem is to be arranged.
The scene at Fortunestown Lane is preserved pending a Garda technical examination.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information, particularly those who may have been in the vicinity of Fortunestown Lane Tallaght to contact the incident room at Tallaght Garda Station on 01-666 6000, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
