The 60 year old male arrested in connection with this incident has been charged and will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Court 2, at 4.30pm today Saturday 26th October 2019.

On the 25th October 2019 an intelligence-led operation targeting an International Organised Crime Group was conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau. A number of searches were carried out in the North Dublin area and cash in excess of €500,000 was seized.
A 60 year old male was arrested for an offence under the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act, 1996 and is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4, Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Finglas Garda Station.
