Gardaí investigating the murder of Perter Murphy at Shanavoher, Bweeng, Co. Cork, who body was discovered on Saturday 7th February 2015, have today arrested two men in their 20s.
The arrests were made today, 16th October 2019 in Co. Cork as part of an operation by Mallow Gardaí. Both men are currently detained at Mallow Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
Speaking at Mallow Garda Station today, Superintendent William Duane said "Gardaí continue to investigate the murder of Peter Murphy at his home in Shanavoher. We would like to thank the members of the community for their assistance to date but we are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
