A man is due to appear in Court following a suspected assault and endangerment incident in City West, Dublin.
On the 23rd October 2019 at approximately 5.30pm a man in his 20s was injured when he was struck by a car during an in incident outside a shopping centre at City West. The injured man was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment, his injures are not thought to be life threatening.
A number of Garda units and Emergency Services attended at the scene and a 23-year-old man was arrested. The man was brought to Tallaght Garda Station where he was detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. The scene of the incident was technically and forensically examined and car was seized by investigating Gardaí.
The arrested man has since been charged and is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court (CCJ Court No. 4) at 10.30am this morning 24/10/2019.
