Gardaí are at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the N81 at Poulaphouca, Co Wicklow which occurred at approximately 3.30pm today Sunday 6th October 2019.
The motorcyclist (male, age unknown) was pronounced dead at the scene, a second male motorcyclist was injured and has been taken to Tallaght University Hospital. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene. The road is expected to stay closed for a number of hours and diversions are in place.
The local Coroner has been notified.
