Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body of a man in his 40s in the vicinity of Balbutcher Lane, Ballymun.
The discovery was made at approximately 10:50am this morning (25/11/19). He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to the Dublin City Morgue where a post- mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow (26/11/2019).
Pending the outcome of the post-mortem, An Garda Síochána are treating this case as a personal tragedy at this time.

The discovery was made at approximately 10:50am on 25/11/19. He has been pronounced dead and the body remains at the scene currently pending a technical examination.
The results of a post mortem will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
