The man in his 20s who was arrested in relation to the seizure of approximately €195,000 of suspected cannabis in Mallow on the 4th November, 2019 has since been charged.
He is due to appear before Mallow District Court on 6th November, 2019.

Gardaí have seized €125,000 of suspected cannabis herb following a search at a house in the Quartertown area of Mallow, Co Cork on the 4th November 2019.
Shortly after 9.30pm, Gardaí from the Mallow District Drugs Unit, assisted by the Armed Support Unit and the Regional Dog Unit, carried out a search at a house in Quartertown and seized €125,000 of suspected cannabis herb which will now be sent for analysis.
This search was part of the investigation into the seizure of €70,000 of suspected cannabis herb in Mallow on the 4th November, 2019.
The man in his 20s who was arrested remains detained in Mallow Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

Gardaí have arrested a man in 20s and seized approximately €70,000 of suspected cannabis herb following an operation in Mallow, Co. Cork on 4th November, 2019.
At approximately 11.30am, Gardaí from the Mallow District Drugs Unit, assisted by Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue’s Customs Service carried out a planned, intelligence lead operation in Mallow town. During the operation, €70,000 worth of suspected cannabis herb was seized and will now be sent for analysis.
A man in his 20s was arrested and is currently detained in Mallow Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
