The post-mortem has been completed this evening (21/03/19) by Dr. Linda Mulligan from the Office of the State Pathologist at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
The Garda investigation continues into all the circumstances of the death.
Gardai are not looking for anyone else in relation to the investigation.

Gardai attended an incident at Wolfhill, Co. Laois this afternoon at approximately 3pm.
Gardai are now investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of a male in his 40s. No other person is being sought in relation to the incident.
The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) have been notified of the investigation. The office of the State Pathologist has also been notified.
Gardai are awaiting the results of the post mortem to determine the course of the investigation.
