On the 21/03/19 at approximately 12md two males wearing balaclavas and armed with a knife and hammer entered a business at Deepwater Quay in Sligo.
They threatened staff and demanded money. They left with a sum of money and no one was injured.
Garda investigating the robbery conducted searches and arrested a 19 year old male and a 24 year old male in the Sligo area on the afternoon of the 21/03/19.They were detained under the provisions of Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Ballymote Garda Station.
A car and items connected with the robbery were also seized for examination.
Both males are scheduled to appear before a special sitting of Sligo District Court at 7.30pm this evening (23/03/19) charged in connection with the robbery.
