A man in his late 20s arrested by Gardaí investigating the death of woman at a house in Forest Park, Killygordan on 4/1/2019 is expected to appear before a special sitting of Sligo District Court this evening (5/1/2019) at 8pm charged in connection with the case.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the death of a woman in her 20s this morning the 4th of January 2019 at an address at Forest Park Killygordan, Co. Donegal. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the body remains at the scene pending an examination by the State Pathologist. The Garda Technical Bureau will be carrying out a technical examination this morning.
A man in his late 20s has been arrested and is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 in Letterkenny Garda Station. Investigations are on going.
