A 28 year old male who had been detained at Ballymun Garda Station in relation to the above is scheduled to appear before Court No 4, The Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am tomorrow (22/02/19) charged in relation to the seizure.

As a result of an intelligence led operation targeting an organised criminal group operating in the Dublin and Wicklow areas, a planned operation was carried out by the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and local Gardaí.
A number of searches of residences were carried out in Enniskerry, Tallaght and Ballymun areas on the 20th February 2019. Cocaine and Cannabis herb with a street value of approximately €250,000 (pending analysis) and approximately €20,000 in cash was seized.
Three males aged 41, 37 and 28 years were arrested and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996 at Bray and Ballymun Garda stations.
