A 49-year-old man arrested earlier today (26/8/2019) by Gardaí investigating the seizure of a shotgun at Beechmount Ave, Drogheda on 8/7/2019 has been released without charge. A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A juvenile (male) also arrested is still detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at Drogheda Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí in Drogheda investigating the seizure of a shotgun on 8th July, 2019 at Beechwood Avenue, Drogheda have arrested two men.
The arrests occurred this morning, Monday 26th August, 2019 where two men (late 40s and a youth) were removed to Drogheda Garda Station and are currently detained under Section 30, Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
