As the result of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing in Dublin, Gardaí attached to the Divisional Drugs Unit South Central, executed a warrant at a house in Dublin 15 on the night of Tuesday 20th August, 2019.
During the course of the search of the house, Gardaí located Diamorphine with an estimated street value of €45,000 (subject to analysis) and other drugs paraphernalia which werre seized and one man was arrested.
The man, (late 30s) was arrested and taken to Pearse Street Garda Station where he was detained under the provisions of Section 2, Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
He has since been charged in relation to the seizure and appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice this evening, Wednesday 21st August 2019.
