An Garda Síochána confirms the following Allocation of Chief Superintendents which took effect as follows resulting from recent promotions and consequential allocations:
The following Chief Superintendents are assigned responsibility following promotion, with effect from 12 August 2019:
Chief Superintendent Denis Ferry to Wexford Garda Division.
The following Chief Superintendents are assigned responsibility on transfer, with effect from 12 August 2019:
Chief Superintendent Brian Sutton to Special Tactics and Operations Command (STOC).
Chief Superintendent Johanna O Leary to Garda Anti-Corruption Unit.
Chief Superintendent O’Leary has responsibility for the establishment of the Garda Anti-Corruption Unit, to include the development of policies, procedures and legislative provisions, reporting to Assistant Commissioner, Governance and Accountability.
