Taxi Driver Assaulted in Dublin on the 21/4/19
Gardaí in Clontarf are investigating the alleged assault of a Taxi driver that occurred at approximately 10pm on the Malahide Road, Donnycarney on the 21st April 2019.
A suspect in the case has presented themselves at a north Dublin Garda station and Gardaí are following a definite line of enquiry.

As the investigation is ongoing we will not be commenting further at this time.

Gardaí investigating the case are aware of a video of the incident currently circulating online. As this case is currently being investigated and in consideration of the injured party it is requested that this online video is not shared further.
The suspect in the case is not a member of An Garda Síochána.
