Appeal for witnesses - Fatal road traffic collision on the N24 Clonmel, Tipperary on the 14/4/19
Gardaí investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured on the N24, Killaloan Lower outside Clonmel Town close to the ‘Bulmers’ factory, Co. Tipperary at about 11pm on Wednesday the 17th April 2019 wish to appeal for witnesses. The collision involved a truck and a car.
The driver of a car, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck received minor injuries.
Gardaí are seeking anyone with information or anyone who was travelling the N24 Killaloan Lower outside Clonmel at the time of the Collison to contact Clonmel Garda Station on 052 6177640, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N24, Clonmel to Carrick on Suir on Wednesday the 17th April 2019 at approx. 11pm. A male driver (50s) was fatally injured when he collided with another vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was brought to South Tipperary General Hospital where a full post mortem is due to take place. The occupant of the other driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road remains closed to facilitate an examination of the area by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Traffic diversions are in place.
