On the 3/11/2018 as a result of a joint investigation by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Revenue Customs a large quantity of Cocaine destined for the Irish market was intercepted at Rosslare Port.
This seizure was made as part of ongoing operations targeting inbound freight from Europe.
A total of 66kgs of Cocaine (analysis pending) with an estimated street value of €4.6 million was seized. The operation was assisted by regional Customs at Rosslare.
No arrests have been made during this phase of the investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
