On the 16th November, 2018 at approximately 4pm. an intelligence lead operation was conducted by the Garda National Drugs and organised Crime Bureau and supported by Security and intelligence in Dublin.
A car was stopped just outside Sheepmore Estate, in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. A search of the car uncovered just over 2 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated street value of €145,000 euro (subject to analysis).
A man (39 years), the sole occupant of the car was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
