As part of an on going operation into the sale and supply of controlled substances in the Ronanstown area, Gardaí from the Ronanstown Drugs Unit carried out an operation in the Balgaddy area of Ronanstown on the 21st May 2018.
They stopped a male teenager and recovered approx. €2,000 of heroin(subject to analysis) on his person. He was arrested and conveyed to Ronanstown Garda station where he currently detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
As part of a follow up search of a house on Foxdene Avenue, Clondalkin heroin with an approximate street value of €43,000(subject to analysis) was seized.
