A 32-year-old female arrested as part of this investigation is expected to appear before Court No. 2, Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate Street, Dublin 8 at 10.30am on Monday morning March 19th 2018. A 48-year-old man was released without charge this evening (17/3/18) A file will now be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

On Friday the 16th of March 2018, as part of ongoing investigations being conducted by the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau supported by the Special Crime Task Force, targeting serious and organised criminal activity in the Dublin Region, a search operation took place in the Kings House Apartment Complex, Bow Lane, Dublin 8. During this operation cannabis and cocaine with an estimated street value of €1.4 million (subject to analysis) was seized.
A male aged 48 and a female aged 32 were arrested and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended at Kevin Street and Kilmainham Garda Stations.
