Gardaí in Lucan are appealing for information following a traffic collision on the Leixlip Road on Tuesday, 13th of February 2018.
At approximately 10.25am a male pedestrian (19 years) was crossing the R148 Leixlip Road (near the Springfield Hotel) when he was struck by a white car. The car immediately stopped and the driver spoke with the pedestrian before leaving the scene. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and later went to hospital for treatment. The matter was reported to Gardaí the following day.
Investigating Gardaí are satisfied that the driver involved in the collision is unaware of the injuries sustained by the pedestrian and drove off thinking the matter was resolved.
