As part of an ongoing investigation into the death of 45-year-old Vincent Kelly in Bray, Co. Wicklow in the early hours of 9th June 2018 Gardaí have arrested a man in his 40s. He was arrested this morning (22/6/2018) and detained at Bray Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He has since been released without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí at Bray are investigating an incident which occurred on Main St, Bray, Co Wicklow at approximately 2am on Saturday June 9th 2018. Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene outside a hotel on Bray’s Main Street.
A male (45 years) was found unconscious and had a serious head injury. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment, he was subsequently pronounced dead in the early hours of Sunday the 10th June 2018 at Beaumont hospital.
Investigating Gardaí are currently investigating all aspects of this incident to establish the facts. The scene was sealed off to facilitate a Garda forensic examination.
A post mortem will be carried out later today by Dr Michael Curtis.
