Gardaí at Miltown Malbay Co Clare are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Caherogan, Miltown Malbay Co Clare at approximately 4.15am this morning, Monday June 18th 2018.
A 30-year-old male rear seat passenger was fatally injured when the car he was travelling in collided with a bridge at the above location. The male driver (28yrs) and front seat female passenger (26yrs) were injured and have been taken to University Hospital in Limerick.
The stretch of road is closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
