As part of an on going operation into the sale and supply of controlled substances in the Wexford area, Gardaí from the Wexford District Drugs Unit carried out an operation in the Carne area of Co. Wexford at approximately 12 noon today, Saturday 2nd June, 2018.
A warrant was obtained to search a house and during the course of the search cannabis herb, cocaine and cannabis resin with a estimated street value in total of €299,000 (subject to analysis) was seized.
One man (early 30s) was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 2 Drug Trafficking Act, 1996 at Wexford Garda Station.
