Death of a male in Mallow, Cork on the 12/7/18

Gardai in Mallow are investigating the death of a male that occurred following an altercation at approximately 8.30pm this evening at Bridge Street, Mallow.

A male in his 20s was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.

Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Mallow Garda Station on 022 31450, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
