A man in his 40s arrested by Gardaí investigating the fatal stabbing of Patrick O Connor on the 7th July 2018 at a pub on Sexton Street North, Co. Limerick is expected to appear before a sitting of Limerick District Court tomorrow morning (11/7/2018) at 10.30am charged in connection with the incident.

Gardaí investigating the fatal stabbing of Patrick O Connor on the 7th July 2018 at a pub on Sexton Street North, Co. Limerick have arrested a man in his 40s.
He is currently detained at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardaí at Mayorstone in Limerick are investigating a fatal stabbing which occurred at a licensed premises at Sexton Street North, Limerick at approximately 23.55hrs last night, Saturday July 7th 2018.
A 24-year-old male received serious stab wounds and was taken to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A post mortem examination is scheduled to take place today and the local coroner has been notified.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination. The Garda Technical Bureau are attending the scene.
No arrests have been made. Investigations are continuing.
