Gardaí have arrested and charged a woman in her 20s following a burglary at a hotel on South Mall, Cork on the 20th August 2018.
Gardaí were called to scene of a burglary shortly after 5am where two persons had entered the hotel and fled the scene empty handed.
Following preliminary investigations by Gardaí, a woman was arrested and brought to Bridewell Garda Station where she was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
She has since been charged and is due to appear before Mallow District Court this morning, 21st August 2018 at 10:30am.
The second person involved in this incident is still being sought by Gardaí.
