Gardaí in Kildare are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the R445 near Monasterevin Co Kildare on Friday 17th August 2018. (Previous Press Release below refers)
The collision occurred at approximately 2.15pm and involved a black Isuzu crew cab 4x4 vehicle and a motorcyclist. Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information or drivers who may have ‘Dash Cam’ footage to contact Kildare Garda Station on 045- 521222, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
They are particularly anxious to speak to the driver of a silver Nissan Micra which was travelling behind the Isuzu in the direction of Monasterevin.

Gardaí in Kildare are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the R445 near Monasterevin.
At approximately 2.30pm Gardaí were called to the scene of a collision on the R445 near Monasterevin. A man aged in his 50s was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a 4x4 vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to Naas General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver and sole occupant of the 4x4 (male 60s) was also taken by ambulance to Naas Hospital. (His condition is not known.)
The R445 is currently closed to traffic west of Monasterevin to facilitate Garda forensic collision investigators and local diversions are in place. The local Coroner will be notified.
