Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision on the R132, Swords, Co. Dublin (Northbound – close to Pavilions Shopping Centre Roundabout) this morning 17th April 2018 at approximately 9am.
A car a 22-year-old female pedestrian sustained serious injuries when she was involved in a collision with a car. The woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious head injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.
The road remains closed pending a full forensic examination. Witnesses are asked to contact Swords Garda Station on 01 666 4700 or the Garda Confidential line 1800 666111, in particular we are seeking drivers/cyclists with dash cams/go pros to contact us.
