Gardaí in Drogheda are investigating a single vehicle fatal collision at Roadhall roundabout, North Rd Drogheda,this evening the 8th March 2017.
The collision occurred at approximately 7.30pm. The sole occupant of the car a male(76years) was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a Forensic collision investigation but is expected to be reopened by 12 midnight tonight. Local diversions are in place.
