Court Appearance - Paul Gallagher Murder Investigation
A 29-year-old man was arrested this evening 14/6/2017 by Gardaí investigating the murder of Paul Gallagher at Ballymacan, Collon, Co. Meath on the 30th July 2014.
The man was taken to Navan Garda Station and is expected to appear before a sitting of Meath District Court in Trim tomorrow morning 15/6/2017 where he will be charged in connection with the investigation.

Gardaí investigating the discovery of the body Paul Gallagher at Ballymacan Collon County Meath on the 30th of July 2014 have arrested a male this afternoon in the Navan area. The male is currently detained under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939/98 at Navan Garda Station.

Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a male in his mid 20’s at Ballymacan, Collon, County Meath, this afternoon at approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday 30th July, 2014. The office of the State pathologist was notified and attended the scene. The body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, where a post mortem is due to take place in the morning. The area has been sealed off for a technical examination.
