Cannabis herb seized and arrest by Gardaí & Revenue Customs Service on the 12/6/17
As part of ongoing intelligence led investigations involving An Garda Síochána and Revenue Customs Service an operation was carried out in North County Dublin on the 12/6/2017.
During the operation a vehicle was stopped and searched near Man o’War by members of the Garda National Drugs & Organsied Crime Bureau. Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €600,000 (analysis pending) was found concealed in the vehicle.
A 34-year-old man was arrested and is currently detained for questioning under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Balbriggan Garda Station.
