Gardaí have seized drugs and arrested one man in an operation in Dublin on 5th December 2017.
On the 5th December 2017 members from the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau assisted by the Special Crime Task Force investigating serious organised criminal activity in West Dublin searched an industrial unit in Newcastle, Co. Dublin where they seized approximately €1.6 million worth of Cannabis Herb. One man in his late 30s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
