Update - Man arrested in connection with Aidan O'Driscoll murder Cork
A man in his early 40s arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation into the fatal shooting of Aidan O’ Driscoll was this afternoon released without charge.

Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of Aidan O'Driscoll that occurred on Commons Road, Cork on Wednesday 7th December 2016 have arrested a man aged in his early 40s.
The man was arrested in the Cork area last night, Sunday 9th April 2017 shortly after 9pm. He is currently detained at Mayfield Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 as amended.
This is the sixth arrest in connection with this on-going investigation.
