Gardaí have seized drugs and arrested one man in an operation in Dublin yesterday 31st March 2017.
As part of an intelligence led operation, Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau assisted by the Garda Emergency Response Unit and supported by local Gardaí searched a premises in Artane.
During the course of the operation Gardaí discovered 20kgs of cocaine (street value subject to analysis 1.4 million Euro) and 4kgs of cannabis resin (street value €100,000); as well as component parts of firearms and a quantity ammunition.
One man, in his 40s, was arrested at the scene and he is detained at Coolock Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
