Gardaí at Longford are investigating a two vehicle serious road traffic collision which occurred at Minard, Co Longford at approximately 4.45pm on Monday 12th September 2016.
A 31 year old female driver of a car received serious injuries when her car was in a collision with a truck, two children who were also travelling in the car received minor injuries, the truck driver was uninjured.
The 31 year old female driver died last night (29/9/16) as a result of injuries sustained in this collision.
