Gardaí in Lifford investigating a serious road traffic collision in Lifford on the 30th August 2016, can confirm that the 72 year old driver of one of the cars passed away at University Hospital Letterkenny on Friday the 9th September 2016.
The two car collision on the 30th August occurred on the Lifford to Letterkenny Rd just outside Lifford at approximately 3.15pm. The male driver (72 years) and sole occupant of one car was injured and taken to Letterkenny University Hospital where he passed away on the 9th Sept.
The other car was driven by a male in his early 30's who was uninjured,two passenger(both children under seven years) were also unhurt in the collision.
