The male (20 years) arrested in connection with the seizure in Cloghan, Co Westmeath on the 13th September was charged and will appear in Mullingar District Court on the 15th September 2016 at 10.30am.
The female was released without charge and a file is being preferred for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

As part of an operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Westmeath area Gardaí have seized cannabis herb with an estimated value of €42,000, pending analysis.
Gardaí attached to the Divisional Drugs Unit, Mullingar seized the drugs following the search of a car that they had stopped on the N52 at Cloghan, County Westmeath yesterday evening, Tuesday 13th September 2016 at approximately 5pm.
A man, 21 years and a female juvenile were arrested at scene and are currently detained at Mullingar Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 as amended.
Gardaí also seized an amount of cash that was located in the car during the search.
