Investigation into the murder of Philip Finnegan August 2016

Gardaí in Leixlip investigating the murder of Philip Finnegan, whose body was discovered in Rahin Wood on the 2nd September 2016 continued to appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact Leixlip Garda Station 01-6667800, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Philip was reported missing from his home at Mary Aikenhead House, Dublin 8 since Wednesday the 10^thof August 2016.

The post mortem has finished and Gardaí will not be disclosing the findings for operational reasons.

The scene remains sealed off for a technical examination.
