One man (53 years) is due to appear before a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court, Criminal Courts of Justice this evening, Friday 23rd September, 2016 at 8pm where he will be charged.
The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21st September, 2016 as part of an on going investigation by Gardaí from Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and assisted by Gardaí from the Special Detective Unit, Harcourt Square into dissident republican activity.

A male ( 53 years) was arrested and is being detained at Carrickmacross Garda station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act 1939 as amended.
Investigations are on going.
