Gardaí at Roxboro Rd are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in which a man (50s) received serious head injuries.
The incident occurred at Lord Edward St at approx. 7.45pm on the 12th October 2016. It is believed the injured party was in an altercation with another man who fled the scene. The man was taken to University Hospital Limerick and has since been moved to Cork University Hospital. CCTV will be viewed as part of the investigation. There have been no arrests.
