Gardaí investigating the death of a man at a house on South Circular Road this afternoon, 4th October 2016 are appealing for witnesses.
The dead man is in his 20s and is an Irish national. His body has been taken to the City Morgue , where a post mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow. Another man in his 20s remains in St James' Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for a third man, also in his 20s, seen leaving the house at about 3.20pm, to contact them. This man is described as 5'6'', thin build and wearing a dark top which may have been blood stained.

At 3.45pm Gardaí we called to an incident at a flat on South Circular Road close to the junction with Bloomfield Avenue Dublin 8.
A man was discovered with injuries on the roadway close to the scene. This man has been removed to James' Hospital and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
When Gardaí examined the inside of the flat they discovered the body of a man believed to be in his 30s.
The scene of the incident has been sealed off for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been informed.
Anyone who was in the South Circular Road/Bloomfield Avenue this afternoon between 3pm and 4pm is asked to contact Kevin Street Garda Station.
