Gardaí at Mullingar Westmeath are investigating a three vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Hiskinstown, Delvin, Co Westmeath on the 8th October 2016, two women were fatally injured in the collision.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses in particular anyone who may have been on the N52 between Delvin and Mullingar between 3pm and 3.30pm to contact them in Mullingar Garda station on 044 9384000,the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

A second female (25yrs) was pronounced dead at the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar this evening as a result of injuries received in an earlier collision today. She was the driver of one of the cars. A female passenger in the same car (38yrs) was pronounced dead at the scene.
An earlier Press Release indicated that the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
