Gardaí are investigating the theft of 20 insulation bales (4 sheets per bale) from a building site at Strand Road, Termonfeckin, Co Louth between 24th – 27th of October 2016.
Gardaí have been informed that if these items are set alight that the smoke and fumes would be toxic and have the potential to cause harm to the health of anyone coming into contact with same without appropriate breathing apparatus.
Gardaí are appealing for any information to contact Drogheda Garda Station on 041-9874200, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station and would like to make the local community aware of the possible dangers if this material is burned.
