Gardaí arrested a man, 22 years, this evening, Monday 23rd May 2016 in connection with the investigation into the murder of Martin Mulligan that occurred in Dundalk on 28th September 2015.
The man was arrested in the Dundalk area and is currently being detained at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a man, aged in his mid 50's, in the Kilcurry area of Dundalk this morning, Monday 28th September 2015 at approximately 3am.
The man was pronounced dead and his body remains at the scene which has been preserved for technical examination. The Office's of the State Pathologist have been notified.
