Gardaí in Thomastown are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic collision which occurred in Dangan, Thomastown Co. Kilkenny on the 13th May 2016.
At approximately 10.55am a 68-year-old male, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle was fatally injured after being involved in a three car collision. The man was treated at the scene by emergency services but died a short time later. His body has been removed to Waterford Regional Hospital. Two other males were brought to St Lukes Hospital with what is believed to be non life threatening injuries.
The road is closed and local diversions are in place. Garda forensic collision investigators are at the scene. The coroner has been notified.
